Some months ago I bought a watercolor set. I'm still trying out things with it. In the beginning I only colored some old life drawings. Now I prefer the mix of watercolors and pens.

In 2009 I was taking life drawing lessons once a week. I really enjoyed it and for me it's not a voyeuristic curiosity. Drawing people, getting their proportions right and catching their character at the same time is extremely difficult. I still need a lot of practice.

When I have time I experiment with portraits, charcoal and wax crayons. I'd like to learn acrylic drawing and litography some day too.

We had a drawing course in the first semester at the university. I made some crayon and copic marker drawings. I wish we had more time for drawing besides all the important designing and programing. It's sad that our design education puts so little emphasis on such skills.
